2023 Peugeot 5008

We are now catching up on the missed facelift from 2020. At least we can also present the hybrid version, which has only been available since this year. A few diesels are missing compared to the past, but at least one is still there, albeit with a steep surcharge.

If you are interested in the 5008, you should also take a look at the 3008, which is almost 20 cm shorter and €3,300 cheaper. He/she who doesn't need the seven seats is probably better off in the city with it. But that's at least 260 liters less luggage space for vacations.

The 3008, you could even purchase as a plug-in with an electric range of 63 km according to the manufacturer for €45,000. But if you opt for the 5008, you're sitting in a car that's quite nimble to pilot with the small steering wheel despite its size.

The big petrol engine has been eliminated since the facelift.

The large 2-liter diesel engine is no longer available either, but the small diesel, which has retained the pleasant eight-speed automatic transmission, is also a good companion on long journeys. At best, one could find it disturbing that the base price for the 5008 models has risen by around € 7,000 in just under three years.

The control buttons have remained and the 12.3" driver and 10" center display are typically Peugeot above the steering wheel. The possibility of accommodating three children next to each other on the back seat is really rare. Perhaps you should reconsider whether the 3008 isn't enough.
