2014 BMW 4er Convertible
The 4 Series will expanded as quickly as expected. In addition to the 4 Series Gran Coupe is now already introduced the new convertible in Los Angeles, to prepare potential buyers to spring. Anyway, the presentation
dates move further and further forward. It is usually no need to buy a new car because the old one would be faulty, but rather the desire for something new.
After a renaissance of fabric roofs, the folding roof of the 3 Series celebrates a joyous rebirth. However, a complex interior silencer appears additionally. However, a complex damping of interior noises appears in addition. So
the car is now really to use all year round, especially if one takes into account the in principle better visibility through the large rear window. Unfortunately, the rear head restraints are slightly in the way.
Also, the loading of the luggage compartment in open state has been simplified. Simply use a switch, the whole thing lifts up and the proverbial water box fits inside. Unfortunately, the car is visually still somewhat inferior
one with a fabric roof. The problem: No matter how much effort you make with the folding, it's better if the parts fit together well.
And that's what the tin roof compels on a particular form. But perhaps our viewing habits are still fixed too much on black fabric roofs. A further disadvantage is the high weight of the new roof which raises the center of gravity
of the car and the maximum speed reduces to below 20 km/h at which it still may be operated.
Of course, the selling prices are higher for the stately appearance and the new possibilities, about almost 2,000 euros compared to the predecessor with folding roof and about 7,000 euros compared to the coupe. Amazing:
The diesel engine represents the comparatively advantageous offer. The all-wheel drive is slightly more expensive than the automatic transmission.
