No, the 990,000 euros are only enough if you have a company and can thus save the VAT. Nevertheless, you should hurry, because from the Nissan GT-R50, as the name implies, will be built only 50 pieces. Presumably, it is already no longer available, because the order period began on 7 December.

You might think Italdesign, the former company of Giorgio Giugiaro, reclaimed the design for itself, but it is probably Nissan who has mainly accomplished this achievement. At Italdesign, the vehicles with the inner tube construction are made by hand only.

The small series is based on the Nissan GT-R Nismo from 2018, which is already with 185,000 € (base 99,900 €) in the price list. Even the 441 kW (610 hp) and 637 Nm are already doing well, the Nürburgring's Nordschleife circled in less than 7:09 minutes. The performance probably stems from the extremely rare and complex combination of transaxle and four-wheel drive.

The engine has retained its displacement and its exterior design. However, the crank mechanism was adapted to the higher boost pressure. The engine control with inlet and outlet has been changed, the injection valves modified to the extra amount. So it now makes 530 kW (720 hp) and has a maximum torque of 780 Nm.

The number 50 marks the years of existence of Italdesign. Since 2015, the company has been fully integrated into the VW empire under the custody of Audi. Interestingly once again the interdependencies that become clear in this cooperation with Nissan. 01/19
