1921 Moto Guzzi Normale

It was the company's first model, designed and manufactured by Carlo Guzzi. It was launched on March 15, 1921 in Mandello Tonzanico on Lake Como in northern Italy. Before the longitudinally installed V2 later became typical of the brand, it was the horizontal cylinder with always the same dimensions and the unprotected rotating flywheel up until the 1970s, both in touring and racing machines.

The 'Norge', designed by brother Giuseppe, followed in 1928, with a significantly more powerful engine and even rear wheel suspension. The name came from the fact that Giuseppe made it to the North Cape with this motorcycle. However, this motorcycle, which was too modern for the time, was not successful.
