2021 Dacia Jogger

After all, no problem to trace the origin of the name. It basically combines three models, the Lodgy, the Dokker and the Logan MCV. And this also is how the parts presents itself that make up the concept. It can no longer really be assigned to any segments.

It descends from the undercarriage of the CMF-B platform from Clio and consorts, but at 2.9 meters it has a wheelbase that is much too large for that, which makes it one size bigger to a competitor in the C-segment. As a result, it is perhaps a little less noticeable that it is identical to the Sandero Stepway up to the B-pillar including the old logo, but hopefully with different NCAP values.

Currently the longest Dacia

At the back, the Jogger becomes an optional seven-seater with surprisingly good access to the third row once you have overcome the double folding of the second row of seats. The rear doors are also a bit higher and the roof rails already contain the cross members, which then only require sturdy cords for loading.

At the very back, the lights are very convincingly crawled up the D-pillar, so that you don't miss the obviously more expensive bisection into the tailgate. This extends very comfortably far down and the variable luggage space is beyond any doubt anyway. So remain 160 liters of luggage space even with seven seats.

With the new platform, a hybrid version can also be realized more easily. However, potential Dacia customers will have to be patient until 2023, although the engine is already available in the Clio E-Tech, where it has aperformance of 67 kW (91 hp) with a 1.6 liter displacement, supported by two electric motors with 51/15 kW performance with 205/50 Nm torque and a 1.2 kW battery.
