As you can see in the pictures, you see nothing. It is outwardly a normal Active Tourer. Strangely enough is the denomination only reserved for this type of BMW. But 225 xe is doubly active. The type 225 seems to be a 2-liter four-cylinder but it has only three of them. The missing power comes from the additional e-drive.
The good news, the price of this BMW reasonably remains within the limits. After all, you have to take as a basis the price of a 218i with automatic transmission. You have to pay a little bit more than 9000 euros for the rear drive, the high-voltage battery and the charging ability. Cleverly, naming it after the 225ix, because that is more expensive.
The manufacturer promises e-driving up to 41 kilometers at a maximum speed of 125 km/h. Although it would be as as optimistic as the CO2 sub> value, after all, you already have a nice range around your home. Of course, the kerb weight suffers with 300 kg more, however, compared with the 2er without four-wheel drive. If you push the gas pedal beyond a certain point, the electric motor does help during acceleration. This is not the case if you go at maximum speed, not better than in the 218 version. The charging process seems to take at least 2 hours and 15 minutes even with the additional Wallbox (approx. 700 Euro). 02/16 cartecc.comImprintIndex
