Aston Martin DB 11

It is the luxury of luxury, but it is more like old instead of new wealth, restrained, directed inwardly. Therefore, the downright lavish leather upholstery and thus one of the most beautiful coupé interiors ever.

Yes, restrained, because the display immediately behind the steering wheel has a certain resemblance to the modest instrumentation of a VW Beetle and the display in the center can not really flaunt its diagonal. One has the impression of a not entirely successful integration.

But, even if you would omit it, a sense of loss would simply not arise in this overall vision. Maybe Daimler can learn a little bit design from Aston Martin so that they rely not only on the turbo technology of AMG.

This is also true for the outer aluminum skin. There is no need this complicated story of flowing air from the front wheel arches, being used again rear (Curlicue, Aeroblade). And the extending rear spoiler does this styling no favor.

But compliment, outside is the more restrained version of inside what is meant explicit positively. Hard to believe that the DB 9 has been developed further so skillfully.

Not lightweight, although without all-wheel drive

However, luxury comes at a price, not only when buying. Bashful is given a rather antiquated dry weight without driver. The actual may be likely far more than 100 kg about that. That should impress the twelve-cylinder engine despite of displacement restriction not much, except one accelerates at low engine speed and high gear. 09/16
