Formulary Driving speed

All the values are needed to calculate thetravelling speed ...

The driving speed can be calculated from the speed of the driven axle directly or from the engine RPM and the transmission ratios of the gearbox and axle drive. In each case the dynamic wheel radius is necessary to do this. Actually, for this purpose, the distance between the wheel center and the road surface should be determined at the respective driving speed, because this distance becomes larger with increasing speed.
