Here it is possible to have a look inside the Torsen-differential. What can be seen, is one of three gear-wheel combinations arranged in the casing with two worm wheels and the accompanying gear-wheels with straight-cut
teeth. It shows clearly that both straight-cut gear-wheels mesh with each other and not the worm wheels. These are connected, in each case with the worm wheels appearing on the left and right at the ends of the shafts.
