4.585 Euro is an enormous price differences, even if the one is called 'GT' and the other 'GTI', the four-doors version even 900 euros more. However, the Kia does not only have 19 kW (26 hp) less, but also 85 Nm of torque. Perhaps more than 400 cm³ more displacement is not quite as easy to replace.

Completely different in both, the surcharge politicy. The Kia has, in addition to a 7-year warranty, the better basic equipment, e.g. leather steering wheel and 7''- display. Even missing assistants, special light, navigation, better brakes and camera are combined in an additional package for 3,200 euros. Then there is the navigation still individually, panoramic roof and a more sound giving exhaust system.

With the pure Golf you can buy everything individually, but also a seven-gears double clutch transmission and electronically adjustable dampers. The CO₂ values are also much better in this case, despite the fact that the engine has more displacement.

You sit on standard heatable Recaro seats. There is a sport-suspension, but also enough travel comfort. Red decorative seams in the leather are particularly noticeable on the heated steering wheel. Pressure on its GT button makes the speedometer display digital and uses the round of the instrument for show you torque left and load pressure right. A red bar has also the special front spoiler. However, the four square-mounted daytime running lights are also special. The brake calipers are red, too. 04/17
