The Coffee 02 is practically the smaller brother of the Coffee 01. Not much shorter, but still 18 cm with 16.5 cm less wheelbase. The front and rear are surprisingly similar. Since the Coffee 02 2023 will initially be available in Europe and Germany (especially mentioned) as a front-wheel drive, the difference in curb weight is around 300 kg.

By then, the Emil Frey Group will probably have opened the first of its 60 planned sales outlets in Germany, if only because the Coffee 01 can already be ordered and thus configured.

It is therefore possible to cut back on the price, because savings have also been made on less spectacular details, e.g. on the door handles. The Alcantara equipment will only be available at an additional cost. However, the dashboard appears to have stayed the same, along with the 14.6 inch touchscreen.

So there is also a chance that the car will take over the excellent values of the crash tests. Taking over the laser high beam for a surcharge seems possible given the identity of the front, which is quite unusual in this class. If it also has the much-praised workmanship and is significantly below the price of the Coffee 01, nothing stands in the way of its success.
