2018 VW I.D. Buzz/Cargo





VW promises lounge atmosphere in connection with the presentation of the ID Buzz. Of course, it is the 1950 Volkswagen T1 (but with 88 cm more length), modeled retro design in the e-era. It sparsely resembles its immediate predecessor Budd-E, more the Microbus before it.


Whether this atmosphere only in the state, or for all passengers also while driving, the makers of the IDBuzz didn't really decide. On the one hand, there are assistance systems such as a head-up display projecting far into the lane, on the other hand the steering wheel (picture above) can be lowered electrically and becomes a 'steering pad'.


All ID models combine the same substructure, but probably only a certain distance in front of the pedals is fixed. The information about possible battery capacity varies. At the top you will find the electrical data of the Audi e-tron. You will probably be able to choose between different kWh, maybe as well as between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.


The fact seems to be that the ID Buzz has a particularly large footprint at this length. That would then also benefit the latest creation, the Buzz Cargo (pictures below). Only in the payload it could feeble a bit with the full battery equipment. Therefore, a customer has to fine tune the size of the battery to the purpose.
