2019 Tesla Model Y
You can pre-order now with € 2.000 deposit, in USA $ 2.500. There are three models, with one drive, two drives and performance. The price difference is € 4.000 to the second drive and further 8.000 € to the
performance model. Delivery probably in early 2021. More than 75 kWh capacity is not expected from the y Model, the standard Model much less, delivery one year later.
Interesting are not so much the probably exaggerated, absolute figures for the range as more the differences. For example, when switching to a second engine, the range is already lost by 35 km, and by the
performance by another 25 km. In addition to the higher engine power, the latter includes larger rims, reinforced brakes, a lowered chassis, carbon rear spoiler, light alloy pedals and the track mode for particularly
sporty driving.
The colour without surcharge is now white, from black to Red Multi Coat it rises from € 800 to € 2,100. 19-inch wheels cost €1,600 more, a white interior €1,050. The y Model is also available as a seven-seater for €
3,100 more. Automatic emergency braking, collision warning and steering assistant are standard. For navigation on the motorway, including up and down and lane changes, € 6,300 is due.

This includes parking at right angles and parallel to the carriageway. Traffic lights and stop signs, not even included in the German beta version so far, should be recognized within one and a half years at the latest,
driving through the city should be automatable. And on the parking lot you should then be able to 'call' your car. However, if you do not order this with the new vehicle, you will pay more later, at least 1,000 €.
If you stifle all extras and only baying the autopilot, it sums up to € 63,280. Nothing is known about possible financing or leasing. But you have to assume, starting from Model 3, at € 4.000 deposit of about € 750 per
month for 4 years. There would be then only approx. 10,000 km per year possible, with 20,000 km probably scarcely € 50 more.
The Model Y is a Model 3 with increased height, a tailgate, the same basic equipment and a continuous panorama roof. According to Tesla's calculation, this costs 55 km for the long range alone. Those who don't need
the larger space of the Model Y will save almost 9,000 € with the Model 3.
