2017 SsangYong Rexton
SsangYong already counts it to the fourth model generation and yet did not change so much externally. It has become 10 centimeters
longer at 3 cm more wheelbase. Now the € 800 additional third seat offers
even more options. But it remains a non-self-supporting construktion with a ladder frame, today more usable for pickups (picture
below).
The torque converter comes from Mercedes, is praised and together with the only slightly stronger diesel engine for not too enormous
power demand well and reasonably quiet equipped. Only if you go beyond that,
the engine gets loud and the transmission hectic. This is no longer the world of the Rexton, not even its more comfort designed
suspension.

It is reasonably priced in the base, also quite well equipped: Electric folding, adjustable and heated mirrors, parking aids front, rear with
camera, light/rain sensor, partially heated windscreen, audio, 8''- touch
screen, digital radio DAB, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
But e.g. automatic and four-wheel drive cost € 2,500 and € 2,000 extra. For 3,700 and another 4500 €, there are two more equipment
lines. In the highest specification, there are also HID headlights with LEDs for fog
and making a turn. Assistants at extra cost are the 360°-camera, one for lane change, traffic sign recognition, emergency braking,
avoiding blind spots and parking out available. In total, therefore, instead of a good
30,000 € also 50,000 € are possible.
Inside you can enjoy quilted nappa leather, ambient lighting, 9.2'-display and 7'-dashboard in addition to the already significantly
upgraded features. Oh, we almost forgot the sunroof and the 20'' rims for € 1000
