The good news, there is again a Smart Brabus, this time in three versions (see pictures). It has compared to its predecessor now 5 kW more power and allows a 10 km/h faster run. The new dual-clutch transmission has a RACE function, which optimizes acceleration enormously. The bad news: It will cost about 1,500 euros more.

Also contrary to the up to now strongest new Smart it has again 14 kW (19 hp) more power. It reaches the 35 Nm higher torque now 500 rpm earlier. Interestingly, the forfour may have 180 km/h maximum speed the fortwo 'only' 165 km/h. Probably even this speed is only justifiable with the 20 percent tauter sports suspension.

In addition to a directer matched steering there is again the Xclusive equipment (+3,000 €). It includes sport seats, which are leather upholstered, perforated with decorative seams. In addition to the changes on the instrument panel, there are LED light and seat heaters and an unspecified sensor package.

With the Xclusive equipment the end of additional charge is not reached. For about 3,000 to more than 7,000 € there is more individualization (tailor made) possible, which almost brings mainly more color and/or leather into the car. Thus, a car available for 10,000 euros at Renault can be inflated to more than 30,000 euros. 05/16
