Renault Zoe

Renault Zoe and Nissan Leaf are group brothers (or sisters). The former belongs to the B segment, the latter to the the C segment. Both have now received a much larger battery, which at the Zoe still means 19 kWh more. However, it is also available with the old 22 kWh.

The Leaf is much lighter than the e-Golf for example. The 40 cm shorter Zoe can still do it better, but neither Golf nor Zoe reach the legendary cW value of the Leaf. So everything is a little smaller in the Zoe, but with 43 kW on a permanent basis and 68 kW as a top would already be pleasant travel possible.

After all, up to 220 Nm is a rather good value. The car has become even 53 kg heavier, thanks to the now advanced battery development. Even the space requirement has not changed with the new battery. The Zoe now also has an effective charging system that guarantees 80 percent in an hour. By the way, it needs another 45 minutes for the last 20 percent.

Still much better is that you can now buy the battery instead of renting. This costs 8,000 euros extra, but saves many inconveniences, if e.g. the car should be sold ahead of time. By the way, the 400 km as a dream figure is not yet reached again, but the 210 km mentioned for the previous model have now become very realistic. 10/17
