2017 Mercedes Maybach 6 Convertible
If you do not like it, take at least a look at the many details. And if you should doubt it, the vehicle is real. Down in the two videos you can see it being driven, do not listen because it is fully electrically and only
whispering.
The Californian Pebble Beach is probably the right place for the presentation of such a handmade prototype. If Daimler quotes Art Deco, one thinks less of the rather factual Chrysler Airflow, but rather more the sweeping forms of French luxury cars end of the thirties.
But also this convertible is far away. Certainly, spreading with a length of 5.7 m for just two people, it is quite monotonous, as one would say in mathematics. With the round rear and the planked ground inside, it is
part of the shipbuilding, but of course even this is a tradition in the automotive industry, but otherwise it is a continuous design concept.
Relatively new is to let the headlights completely in the background. The Maybach radiator grille dominates the scene and overpowers even the otherwise additionally emphasized front spoiler. Air intakes are almost
imperceptible there, only a circular chrome strip. Others of them lead from the far back over the hood and point directly to this splendor here.

An electric car with four engines near the wheels actually does not need a radiator grille. Only one can hardly be forgiven it, the Mercedes star on top of it. The transition of the rods to the rims is very successful. And
24 inches here really so expansive that the tire is almost nothing more to be seen. And the central catch makes the rods even longer.
In the interior, it is (more) exciting. Already today the design of the dashboard is pulled into the doors. Here it is a kind of display and goes all around. What is not to see in the pictures of the white nappa leather are the
gold thread quilting seams. And as hardly not all analogue instruments have been replaced by digital ones, they are recelebrated here.
