Mercedes E-Class Coupé
Three coupés of the C-, E- and S-Class, how do the three differ? They are similar from behind, but the E less exciting than the C and the S, there with a successful connection of the two relatively large tail lights.
Perhaps you have to get used to the slightly greater simplicity of the new E-Coupé. May be it's better not to look at a rear in white color.
Now on the basis of the E-Class. |
From the side there are at the bottom and the top the very concise longitudinal beats, two at the S- and
one through the door handle at the C-Class. Again, the new is shining by simplicity. The longer back
side windows can only be completely winded down, if a small part of it remains. Too bad that this
part stands out, in contrast the side view of the C-class.
Welcome ritual in the taillights. |
At the front, the E-Class is clearly different. The lower part looks better than the unimaginability with only wire mesh
at C- and S-Class. However, its headlights together with the cut of the bonnet are better in the
front integrated. The glittering radiator grille is nice, but why the car has to carry it as far ahead as
the Mercedes star in earlier times? Somehow, the front in the side view is not harmonious.
May be the new car is inside so much wider than the C-Class. Or the latter feels more narrow because of the strange positon of the display. Also opposite to the S-class one must probably state that here is a good
connection between driver orientation and the for all open center console. Perhaps the strip devidng the upper from the lower part of the dashboard could be styled more moderate. 12/16
