2016 Mercedes C-class Cabrio
More than 5,000 euros more for a convertible instead of a coupe, more than 10,000 euros compared to the sedan. Both can be recognized by the way in the rear-view mirror of sedan and T-model by only one
instead of two horizontal struts in the radiator grill. There is hardly any difference between the convertible and the coupe, except for the missing roof, not even with the drives.
There are three equipments, Avant-garde, Exclusive and the AMG-line equipment, which can also be ordered without the technical AMD-peculiarities, but adapted to the narrower wheels. The latter can also be seen
from the front on the 'Diamand-Grill' with an almost black front base. Like the coupe, the convertible is also 15 mm lower than sedan and T-model.
The comfort of Mercedes convertibles is increasing. After the neck heating there is now the Air cap system, in addition to the small windschott between the rear headrests on the upper edge of the windshield a
spoiler extends. You get even more wind-protected by windshield put over the rear seats by hand. Also the air conditioning reacts on the roof opening.
The soft top makes a slightly smaller window surface possible at the rear. Disadvantage: less favorable visibility, advantage: window (in contrast to the coupé) fully retractable. From inside, only a small black bar
instead of a B-pillar is visible when the roof is closed. The interior is, as with most convertibles, unaccustomed dark. 04/17 font>
