2018 Lexus LF-1 Limitless

Lexus already exists for 30 years and it can be assumed that the design of the study presented here also creates a special experience for potential customers. It shows the sharp-edged design developed after difficult beginnings, e.g. a Japanese sword evolves into the future. It is called 'crossover', a series that started with the first RX.

The type of workmanship and premium features are part of the Lexus philosophy as well as the many approaches to passenger safety. Since 2005, developed by the parent company adopted hybrid technology, but in a slightly different direction. The company has sold more hybrids in the premium class, than all other providers there together, more than 350,000 alone in Europe.

It is not only the shape of the grille, but also its implimentation, a seal of approval with recognition gain, accompanied or overwhelmed by manifold honors. The LF-1 Limitless, introduced in Detroit, represents a new flagship type of crossovers. Apart from beguiling design once again the attempt to unite plenty of legroom with low height. Of course, the term 'legroom' means that of the car, the one of the passenger seems to be enough with five meters in length.

It's not just the design with edges right down to the barely visible headlights, formerly called the 'eyes' of the car. One also notices a shift to other activities in the vehicle even with greatly reduced displays, e.g. integrated navigation almost with the idea of wanting to give any information soon, because the car makes everything itself. It is called this behavior in Lexus language already as co-piloting.

Therefore, this concept is also kept open to any form of drive train, the various electric and combined anyway. However, beyond the fuel cell, no internal combustion engine appears alone anymore. Understandable, because 98 percent of all sold in Western Europe vehicles of the company are electrically powered in any way. 03/18
