2016 Infiniti Q 60




Compared with the sedan Q50 the wheelbase has remained. Only the length was shortened, so the overhangs. The competitors on the German side are the M4 from BMW, C43 AMG from Mercedes and S5 from Audi. Only 10 percent is the market share of these Coupvs. They are also not very practical, e.g. this one has only 342 liters of luggage space.

The steering according to the Steer-by-wire principle still has a connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels despite the name. In the top version with electro-hydraulic suspension there is a choice between more or less tight connections. The problem: If you choose the sportier version, you also get the sporty suspension, which is good for the steering, but bad for the comfort. Maybe the car is designed a little bit more for the American market.


For 1,400 euros the (red) painting is available with ten (!) Layers, which perhaps revives or exceeds the depth of paint of earlier luxury cars. The front is not identical compared to the sedan, slightly sharpened, especially the headlights. On the sides one can this by the edge formation take even literally. The rear absorbs all contradictions, which rather benefits its look.

Compared to the German colleagues, the surcharge list is after Infiniti rules short, which relativizes the entry prices somewhat. However, packages are not ideal if you want to put together your own car. The interior of the Q60 is identical to the Q50 except for the steering wheel and comes as standard with a 7- and 8-inch touchscreen.
