How to bring an extremely cheap car to the man or the woman. The accent is really on 'worth the money' and not only 'cheap'. Because the latter really doesn't apply for this car produced by a well-known manufacturer.

In the crashtest, one can not fail as completely as the first generation of the Tata Nano, even if the second generation has been strengthened and India does not prescribe crash tests. However, both the initial entry price of 1,500 euros as well as today's 2,800 euros were unachievable for the Eon. In spite of this, the Tata in India nevertheless did not prevail.

Quite different the Renault Kwid, with a similar motorization being even slightly larger and comes with a basic price of 3,500 euros the Eon already closer. The Eon, now (2015) at least nearly 4,500 euros expensive, has a hard life, even if its price already includes the road approval.
