No, the 1.6 litre diesel engine is generally available, but no longer on some markets, including Germany. That is very unfortunate, because the engine developed by Honda itself was a bit rough, but was praised throughout for its pulling power of 300 Nm. Incidentally, the performance of all engines hasn't changed.

The engine of the sports version has now been added for this purpose. A somewhat strange situation, because the entry-level engine is in principle the sportier one as naturally astimated with i.VTEC with 6600/min nominal speed. On the other hand, the turbo has a much more civilized effect inspite of the same cubic capacity. As in the past, a shift or CVT transmission can be combined.

It is still called HRV Sport and shows this also by a double-flow exhaust system 18 inch and performance damper control. It can significantly reduce rolling movements in curves and support sudden change of direction even on straight sections. For this purpose the electric power steering is adapted.

The HRV is the smaller brother of the CRV, also called compact SUV. Somewhat difficult to classify because of its coupé-like shape. New on it are the high-gloss black chrome clasp with honeycomb pattern as radiator grille, LED headlights and the possible styling package with front spoiler, side skirts, wheel arch strips and rear bumper.

The inside of the sports version also has a distinctly different appearance, e.g. can be recognised by the seats with strong lateral guidance. The list of assistants is fairly complete for this class. The US version even runs partly autonomous. Prerequisites, however, are a certain speed range and e.g. not operated windscreen wipers. 05/19
