2013 Ford Fiesta ST




There should be even more than 134 kW (182 HP) possible, not declared in the official data. But the 147 kW (200 HP) are available at full throttle, but only for a limited time and so not to be payed at the insurance company. You can believe the story, because the 2016 limited edition ST 200 (+4,000 euros) actually had 147 kW (200 hp) and at full throttle even 158 kW (215 hp) at again increased torque (picture below).


Naturally, it is about sporty driving at an affordable price. Therefore, no dual clutch transmission is offered. Although the slightly imprecise shifter might need some competition. The engine is generally praised (6.9 s 0-100 km/h) and the videos below prove the fun which you can have on selected roadways, assisted by a suspension rather of the hard sort.


Diffusor and dual tailpipes are normal for this vehicle type, as are the optional red brake calipers. Somewhat obtrusive are the red seats (always from Recaro), but there are also more subtle possibilities. The rim size Is always unchangeable 17 inches. And then still another special feature: The Fiesta ST is now deliverable with four doors (picture below).


Torque vectoring seems now perhaps more indispensable than a rear spoiler, no matter whether it is in black or in car paint as here. The electronics seems to have learned to be more unspectacular, but supporting driving pleasure better though not noticeable. And what may not be missing in such a car is the transmission of the engine sounds into the interior. 10/16
