2018 Audi e-tron
Daimler introduces its first all-electric SUV in Stockholm, Audi in San Francisco. Instead of 600 one has 1,600 guests. But to compare the vehicles: The Audi has significantly more battery capacity,
which makes this heavy 700 instead of 650 kg. Its battery can be recharged faster (with electric power tank flap) at 150 kW DC.
Nevertheless, Audi indicates the range lower with much more realistic 400 km. The Mercedes has more torque at about the same performance, but regulates down earlier in the top speed. In weight, both are not much
different, except for the mentioned 50 kg. However, the Audi is larger, accommodates e.g. significantly more luggage.
Both vehicles each have a drive unit front and rear. The Mercedes can also be operated alone with the front engine, the Audi - reversed world - only with the rear engine, four-wheel drive each with variable distribution.
The Mercedes descends directly from the GLC, the Audi fluctuates with the typical instruments between Q5 and Q7.
At Mercedes, the camera, instead of the exterior rearview mirror, is used for the first time in the Actros, the e-tron is slightly faster. Here, the two cameras are optional, even slightly less filigree, but still improve the
cW value by 0.01. The screen is slightly lower seen from the driver's seat than the mirror in the doors, but as a touch screen it allows the adjustment of width and direction very intuitively. 09/18
