2026 Audi Q4 e-tron

While the base model is quite affordable by Audi standards, it does have one major drawback: its battery is too small for such a large car. And unless you choose the Performance model, there's no way to buy the rear-wheel-drive version with the 77-kW battery.

As you can see from the data above, that’s €6,000 for just 18 kWh more, even if you set aside the other benefits of the Performance package. That's just the extra cost for Audi quality and status. And there's probably always a surprise feature included.

The battery is significantly cheaper at the group's sister companies.

In any case, we couldn't find any mention of the Vehicle To Load and Vehicle To Home functions in the list of additional charges, nor of the adapter that plugs into the charging port. So that would be completely different from how other companies do it.

The wheels on the base model are also made of aluminum. Another new feature is the rear-mounted motor, designated APP 350. The Single Frame has changed slightly; its openings are illuminated in the more expensive versions, and the supposedly so-important air intakes leading to the wheels have disappeared.

At the rear, everything has remained the same except for the rear apron. You can protect yourself from excessive lighting caused by a connection between the taillights and the largely unnecessary OLEDs by configuring the settings accordingly. The lettering now looks better on the rear of the Audi.

One of the best things about it is the ability to bring along luggage or other items that fit on a trailer, for example. Take a look at the information above, it has just about everything you could want. When looking for a place to store small items, however, the lack of a frunk might be a nuisance.

Inside, it seems that the piano-black finish has now been phased out on almost all of the company's models, and even the storage compartments for two smartphones are now cooled. We actually have such an old one that really needs something like that. With the exception of one control element in the center console, the controls are primarily tactile.

With its interior design, Audi is clearly trying to set itself apart from its many competitors in the mid-size class. This is achieved through good craftsmanship, not always through the choice of materials, but certainly through good aesthetics, such as in the seats. With an Audi, you always have to look closely to discover the signs of quality.

Like most other models from this brand, this car strikes a balance in its suspension setup, perhaps even with adjustable settings, but always between a level of sportiness that’s still tolerable and a level of comfort that isn’t too cushy and might cause the car to swing around.
