2017 Audi Formula E



Obviously Audi, after the retreat from Le Mans and 'only' still busy with the DTM is looking for additional challenges. Audi's commitment is not completely new and is therefore not a tremendous risk of failure. The team of ABT, Schaeffler and Audi Sport is still going on with a different painted car.


This is one of the cars with which Lucas di Grassi won in the last season (video at the bottom). The team score went to Renault e.dams. Daniel Abt has also been there last season. Yes, two cars are still needed for a race. In the 2018/2019 season, it is hope that the increased battery capacity will make it possible to run a complete race with only one vehicle. The battery capacity and bodywork including chassis and tires (Michelin) are specified and therefore not changeable.
