It is the second generation, but only because of renaming. Audi Cabrios of the 80 series have been familiar to us for a long time (see first video below). The two new again are somewhat longer, but much more than in the wheelbase has increased, and in both dimensions 55 millimeters less than the A4.

To be honest, you can not even imagine it with a solid folding roof. The rear window should now be even a little bit flatter. There are two gasoline and diesel engines in the A5, in the A6 the only six-cylinder gasoline one. Would you have thought that there are now up to 30 assistance systems?

The microphones in the seat belts seem to be interesting, suggest the problem with the big truck wheels, which suddenly appear aside the cabriolet next to one and mean a slight fright noise. To close the top it is too late now, which would better have been done at the beginning of the driveway up to max. 50 km/h.

Below you see the substructure, which is particularly important for a cabriolet, a skilful mixture of iron and aluminum metal. It is said to be 40 percent torsion resistant. And if the new car could be delivered in time to the first really warming sunrays, a dream. 02/17
