Only from 2017 on it will be delivered. There will be only 99 copies of the Vanquish Zagato Volante, the hitherto latest project with the northern Italian body magicians. The cooperation exists already decades, has started with the especially for the time wonderful DB 4 GT Zagato, a racing car from 1960 (pictured below).
It continued with the DB 7 Vantage Zagato of 2002, the V12 Vantage Zagato of 2011 and the recently introduced Vanquish Zagato Coupé (Video below). As a predecessor of the here presented convertible may be seen the distinctively styled V8 Vantage Volante, presented in Geneva in 1987 and the DB AR1 of 2003 (pictured below).
Of course, the Volante convertible with fabric roof does not differ in the data compared to the Vanquish Coupé, has also the usual Aston Martin drive unit with 441 kW (600 hp) and transaxle arrangement. At its rear, it benefits from the LED technology of the supercar 'Vulcan'.
