Slip (wheelspin)

Slip occurs when a wheel turns either faster or slower than is absolutely necessary for the travelling speed. This difference, once more, is based on the driven stretch. Should the circumferential speed be higher that the driving speed, then the slip is expressed as a negative value, e.g., when accelerating too quickly (wheelspin).
