 Dwell phase
The necessary values can be read off from the oscilloscope display. The engine RPM is the number at the top right hand side. The signal from the Hall sensor leads us quite simply, to the dwell-angle.
| The smaller the ignition interval is, the shorter the dwell-phase is. |
