Performance (indexed)

While the effective performance can be measured on the clutch, the performance index (internal performance) is achieved by calculating the internal pressure. The average internal pressure takes into consideration
only the losses caused by the three preparation strokes. Other losses, e.g., through the engine control, are not considered. Thus, the performance index shows the theoretically achievable performance under ideal
conditions and for this reason,is always higher than the measured performance.
